BMO

BMO is the one that will probably take the longest time to make because you will need to wait for all the paint to dry. But all the work will pay off. We made up the process and so I will show you how we did it
This is BMO :D Cute isnt he? hehe

Heres what you will need...

  • Box that will cover head to hips
  • Blue paint
  • Green/Blue Paint
  • Red Paint
  • Black Paint
  • Red Paint
  • Blue leggings.
  • White Paint

Heres the box we used (and PB's crown, to see how we made her costume, click on her page on the right hand side)

We cut one of the sort sides off so that you could get into the box and painted all of it white, as you can see in the photo.

After we painted the box white and it had dried  we drew a square for the 'face' we actually didn't measure it to see if it was even, sometimes guess work looks better. It should finish just in the middle of the box, which leaves heaps of room to paint in the buttons later. Like in this picture you can see one of the buttons has been painted on too.

After we painted the box the blue colour, we drew on the buttons that we just copied off of the picture of  BMO thats at the top of this page, and painted with black paint a cute face that BMO pulls sometimes. When we got to this stage we had a little fun and danced around on the street and got a few cars to beep :3

We then drew the letters B M O onto both sides of the box. You will notice in the picture of the real BMO the letters are actually the other way around with the B at the top and and O at the bottom we had to change that around because the O is where the arms go and we couldn't manage to make it so the arms came out the bottom. Again we made up the measurements for the letters and the speaker. If you do really need them, just comment below and I will measure it for you and reply ASAP ( :

We cut out the holes in the O for like I said, the 'actors' arms to come out of. You will have to measure the "actor's" head to collar bone so you know where abouts to put the O, so it fits them. Nothing worse than spending heaps of time on it and them not being able to get their arms out!

For the back of him, we just drew the lines on with black paint. Just copy the picture to the left.

When you have done that you will need to cut out eye holes, but again you will need to measure the person who its for so that they will be able to see out of it!

And there you go! BMO! Easy as that! :D Any questions or comments, feel free to comment below and tell us what you think! ( :
